Overview

As the Senior Manager, Service Applications you will be responsible for building and leading an organization that designs and maintains the infrastructure and systems vital for business operations teams to scale and achieve process excellence. This role requires strong collaboration with key team members to ensure that systems and practices align with Insmed’s overall business strategy. You will coordinate the functionality, execution, and scalability of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that it supports multiple business units, including but not limited to Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, and Procurement. Your leadership will drive system efficiency, process automation, and strategic technology investments.

Responsibilities

  • Partner, collaborate and develop positive relationships with stakeholders to understand organizational needs in support of the digital strategy, corporate objectives, and major functional objectives
  • Perform gap assessments, formulate investment initiatives that support business priorities
  • Partner with the Program Management Office (PMO) organization to develop roadmaps that optimally reflect corporate priorities and balancing of resources
  • Serve as the IT owner of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless cross-functional integration and operational efficiency.
  • Manage demand and drive execution of a portfolio of projects through effective prioritization, planning (e.g. clear definition of objectives, success criteria, risks, scope, timelines, cost), vendor management and oversight
  • Develop, document, and maintain process, system, integration and data architectures for the ServiceNow eco-systems
  • Apply standard methodologies for defining business capabilities, understanding core requirements, and managing vendors for implementation and ongoing support
  • Be the IT owner for ServiceNow platform and partner cross functionally to ensure systems integrate and operate as designed and intended to support global process execution
  • Implement integrated and automated processes that drive efficiency and be audit ready at all times; sustain knowledge continuity through appropriate level of documentation, cross training and vendor management
Position Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an IT product owner leading a ServiceNow development team across different functional areas continued growth and responsibilities
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in IT applications with a minimum of 3 years partnering and working with multiple business functions on the implementation of new capabilities enabled by IT
  • Proven track record of leading, influencing, and driving initiatives with senior partners.
  • Extensive business system analysis skills and strong experience with system development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong background in IT operations, administration, and enterprise solutions.
  • The ability and willingness to roll up sleeves as needed to drive team success
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, etc.).
  • MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.

$111,000 - $156,133 a year
