About the Role:

Responsible for developing and executing the Medical Affairs strategic plan for Insmed SAS product portfolio.

Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: 

  • KOL mapping and development of KOL deployment plans
  • Manage the French MSL´s (or similar)
  • Delivery of medical education plans and activities such as local advisory boards / round tables / 1:1 meetings / presence at local country congresses
  • Delivery of local scientific publications and communications 
  • Support for clinical development and local phase IV initiatives, including the risk management plans agreed with EMA
  • develop in conjunction with Medical EU medical tools and manage Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials (IIT´s) in France
  • Management of the named patient sales/ compassionate supply program (ATUs), prior to approval
  • Provide medical and scientific expertise and leadership for the Commercial organization
  • Managing the medical input into Market Access documentation
  • Approval of all Medical Affairs activities and medical-marketing materials, including assistance in translation into local languages
  • Ensure local compliance and delivery of medical governance



About You:

The ideal candidate will be experienced in pulmonology/ Infectious diseases/rare diseases or other relevant experience.


  • A Medical degree
  • Broad and in-depth knowledge of pulmonology/ Infectious diseases/rare diseases space area either through clinical practice or through exposure in prior job functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant French regulations (transparency – French sunshine act)
  • Proven relationship building skills with key opinion leaders
  • Experience with phase IV clinical study management and conduct
  • Experience in delivering medical educational activities such as advisory boards, round tables, symposia, local publications etc
  • Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications
  • Knowledge of commercialization and business practices
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Drug Safety
  • Documented academic track record


Additional Information

Travel Requirements:

  • The role will be home based with time spent in the local French office (in Paris) and require up to (60%) travel.
