A unique opportunity for an inquisitive, excellence driven, and strategic leader with developing customer insights & market research capabilities to join a fast paced, innovative, biotech company focused on rare diseases. This position will be located at our Bridgewater, NJ headquarters location.
The Director, Customer Insights will have responsibility to design, manage and execute strategic and tactical customer insight projects and activities. Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Effectiveness, the Director, Customer Insights will be a key member of the Commercial Effectiveness team, and will partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access colleagues.
The role of Director, Customer Insights is to lead the design and execution of primary and secondary market research that spans multiple products and indications for the Commercial organization. He/she will be responsible for delivering high quality business insights into Insmed’s current and future product portfolio and relevant competitors. This individual will work closely with marketing and analytics teams to design strategic and tactical research plans to address business questions, inform strategy development and support portfolio planning. Responsibilities include planning and management of primary market research studies, integration of secondary data, tracking competitive landscape and presenting insights to cross-functional teams and senior management. She/He will serve as an internal consultant to senior leadership by providing strategic insights into Insmed’s target markets, thereby helping key internal stakeholders make informed strategic decisions. This individual will partner closely with key internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Commercial Effectiveness, IT, Commercial Operations, Patient Services, Legal, Compliance) to accomplish the responsibilities of this role.
